Dhaka: In Bangladesh, the head of the interim government, Mohammad Yunus, who instigated the fire of anarchy after the ouster of former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and remained silent on the violence against minority Hindus, has given a very surprising statement. Instead of accepting his own failure, Mohammad Yunus has put the former PM in the dock for the current situation in Bangladesh. He said Sheikh Hasina’s government had “destroyed everything”. He called for general elections to be held after constitutional and judicial reforms are implemented.
Bangladesh Sangabad organization gave this information on Wednesday citing Yunus’s interview given to a Japanese newspaper. Nobel laureate Yunus (84) said in an interview to ‘Nikkei Asia’, “We need to make comprehensive reforms in the economy, governance, bureaucracy and judiciary (before holding elections).” Yunus once again said that after the trial of the case against Hasina at the International Criminal Tribunal in Bangladesh ends, India should extradite her. “We will officially request India to hand them over once the verdict comes after the trial is over,” Yunus said.
Said- Will demand extradition of Hasina from India
Yunus said that he will demand extradition of Sheikh Hasina from India. Also said that under the international law signed by both the countries, “India will be bound to comply with it”. The Chief Advisor also said that the Indian government’s concerns about the safety of Hindus are not based on facts and what is being said is “propaganda”. Let us tell you that after the removal of Sheikh Hasina from the post of Prime Minister in August, relations between the two neighboring countries have deteriorated. India has expressed concern over the targeting of Hindus and other minorities in Bangladesh. The situation has worsened after the arrest of Hindu saint Chinmoy Krishna Das last week. Yunus said he also proposed to revive the South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC), which is largely inactive due to strained relations between India and Pakistan.
Yunus said – we are building a new Bangladesh
Yunus said that we are basically building a new Bangladesh.” He refused to talk about contesting the elections himself. Said, I am not a politician. I have always stayed away from politics. “Hasina’s 15 The country’s governance system was completely destroyed during Sal’s rule and a huge responsibility has fallen upon us to re-establish it by restoring democracy, economic stability and public confidence.” He said, “She (Hasina) ) in governance, Democratic principles were completely disregarded. He held fraudulent elections without voter participation for three consecutive terms, declared himself and his party the unopposed winners, and acted as a fascist ruler. (Language)
