Xiaomi 15 spotted on BIS
Xiaomi 15 series was launched in the Chinese market last month in October 2024. Now it seems that this smartphone is ready to be launched in India also. The upcoming premium phone from the Chinese tech giant was spotted on the BIS platform with model number 24129PN74I. Although, not much information has been received about the phone from this listing, but it has been confirmed that it will be launched in India soon. The thing to note is that only Xiaomi 15 model is seen in the listing, but there was no talk of Xiaomi 15 Pro. Xiaomi has not yet made any official announcement regarding the launch of Xiaomi 15, but the official teaser is expected to be shared in the coming weeks.
Xiaomi 15 Specifications
Xiaomi 15 features a 6.36-inch 8T LTPO display with a resolution of 1,200×2,670 pixels, 120Hz refresh rate, 300Hz touch sampling rate, and up to 3,200 nits peak brightness. Security: This phone supports an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor and face unlock feature. Xiaomi 15 works on HyperOS 2 interface based on Android 15. Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite processor has been given in this phone. This smartphone has a 5,400mAh battery which supports 90W wired fast charging and 50W wireless charging.
Talking about camera setup, the rear of Xiaomi 15 has a 50 megapixel Light Fusion 900 sensor with f/1.62 aperture and optical image stabilization, 50 megapixel telephoto camera and 50 megapixel ultra-wide angle camera. There is a 32-megapixel front camera for selfies and video calls. It is equipped with IP68 rating, ensuring protection against dust and water. Connectivity options include 5G, Wi-Fi 7, USB 3.2 port, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS, Galileo, GLONASS, and USB Type-C port.
