Shefali Verma plays domestic cricket for Haryana.
In the Senior Women’s ODI Trophy, Bengal has set a record for the biggest run chase in List A cricket against Haryana. In the quarter-final match on Monday, Bengal won the toss and chose to bowl first. With the help of Haryana opener Shefali Verma’s brilliant 197 runs on 115 balls, the team scored 389 runs in 50 overs.
In reply, Bengal achieved the target of 390 runs by losing 5 wickets in 49.1 overs. Tanushree Sarkar from the team scored 113 runs and also took 3 wickets. This match was played at Niranjan Shah Stadium in Rajkot.

This is her second century in the Senior Women’s One-Day Trophy. Shefali had earlier played an inning of 139 runs in 98 balls against Uttar Pradesh.
