Washington: America’s newly elected President Donald Trump has taken another revolutionary decision before his swearing-in. He has nominated an ex-serviceman for an important post like Army Secretary. Trump said on Wednesday that he has chosen a former soldier who participated in the Iraq War as his military secretary. Trump’s decision to give such a big responsibility to a soldier is being praised a lot. The special thing is that the soldier nominated for Military Secretary has also studied with Trump’s aide and Vice President JD Vance.

The name of the soldier is Daniel P.Driscoll. He is also said to have been rewarded for studying with JD Vance. JD Vance’s recommendation to his friend Daniel is also considered important. Daniels hails from North Carolina. Let us tell you that Daniel P. Driscoll has worked as a senior advisor to JD Vance, who was elected for the post of Vice President. Daniel met JD Vance when both were studying together at Yale Law School. He ran in the Republican primary for a North Carolina congressional seat in 2020, but was unsuccessful.

Trump called Daniel a warrior

“Daniels is a courageous and combative warrior who is an inspiration to American troops and the ‘America First’ agenda,” Trump said on social media. If Daniels (38) is confirmed, he would join the military branch. He takes over a command that is struggling to address recruiting shortfalls through sweeping changes to its programs and personnel. The Army is also making extensive efforts to redesign and modernize its weapon systems. (AP)
