London: The situation has gone from bad to worse due to the continuous violence against Hindus in Bangladesh. It is no longer safe to live here not only for Hindus but also for citizens of other countries. Britain has also accepted that the situation in Bangladesh has worsened. Therefore, the British Government has updated the ongoing advisory regarding its citizens in Bangladesh and advised British citizens not to travel there.

The Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) reviewed the security section of the advisory issued for Bangladesh on Tuesday evening. The updated advisory cautions against any travel except “essential travel.” “Terrorists may attempt attacks in Bangladesh,” the FCDO travel advisory said. According to the advisory, “There is a possibility of terrorist attacks in many places, which may also include places where foreign nationals visit, such as crowded areas, religious places, (and) political rallies etc. “Some groups have targeted people they believe have views and lifestyles that are contrary to Islam.”

Britain admitted deadly attacks on Hindus

“Attacks have targeted religious minority communities and police and security forces,” the UK advisory said. These include IED attacks in major cities. “Bangladeshi authorities are working tirelessly to foil the planned attacks.” There is an atmosphere of tension in Bangladesh after the arrest of Chinmoy Krishna Das, a former official of International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON), in a treason case. Earlier, Britain’s Indo-Pacific Affairs Minister Catherine West had said in the ‘House of Commons’ on Monday, “We are aware of the concern of the Indian government after the arrest of well-known Hindu leader Chinmoy Krishna Das on treason charges.” Are. Britain’s Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) is keeping an eye on these developments. (Language)
