There is a saying that a person becomes half a doctor while battling diseases. Dimple Jangra has proved this saying true. After battling epilepsy and then migraine, Dimple herself researched naturopathy and became an expert in it.

Dr. Dimple Jangra used to struggle with health problems in her childhood. This problem of hers inspired her to gather and learn the right information about Ayurveda. After experiencing the difference the healing power of an ancient science like Ayurveda made in her life, she never looked back.
Dr. Dimple Jangda has a huge fan following on social media. She is the founder of Prana Healthcare Center and Prana Academy for Ayurvedic Life-Sciences. Her TV show ‘Ayurveda Diaries’ was aired in English, Hindi and Telugu. Recently she has written the books ‘Heal Your Gut’, ‘Mind and Emotions’ (ayurved and gut coach Dimple Jangda).

Had to deal with the problem of epilepsy and migraine (Epilepsy Patient)

Battling health issues since childhood, Dimple got naturally involved with Ayurveda. “I had epilepsy till the age of 11. Then from the age of 20, I started suffering from migraines. I underwent several surgeries. I had to face a lot of health issues till the age of 20. Due to poor health, my personal life also had a series of disastrous events. The struggles were made even worse by an abusive marriage,” Dimple Jangra tells Health Shots. Probably due to family pressure, Dimple had to get married.

Solution found in Ayurveda (Ayurveda Expert)

Through the ups and downs of her life, she spent a lot of time exploring allopathy and western medicine to find solutions to her health issues. She continues, “The number of surgeries I had to undergo and the amount of medication I had to take in the form of drugs, steroids and antibiotics was ridiculous. None of these treatments could guarantee that I would never have the same symptoms again. So I wanted to find the root cause of my problem and its solution. This is what I found in Ayurveda. It was an eye-opener. Through it, you can reach the root cause of your illness and its solution using food, nutrition and yoga.

Became Gut Health and Ayurveda Coach

An investment banker by profession, Dimple started her clinic to fulfill corporate social responsibility. She soon realised her purpose in life. She says, “I also hired doctors and specialists to help patients recover from diseases. But there was a gap between what the doctors told and what the patients understood. I started doing research on my own.

Research on Naturopathy

I started studying naturopathy. This gave me the idea to start designing diet plans for my patients. I spent six years researching and preparing a thesis on food chemistry and Ayurveda for daily life. This became the subject of my PhD thesis in Food Chemistry. This is what allows me to share my knowledge of Ayurveda with other people.”

In her book ‘Heal Your Gut, Mind and Emotions’, Dimple specifically talks about how your gut is the center of the entire body. The second place is the brain. It has the ability to heal many health problems. She explains that one can keep their gut healthy with a five-point approach.

Dimple Jangra believes that doing so can help you pay attention to your diet and gut health. One plans what to eat and what to do in advance. This is always good for gut health. The food pyramid generally tells you how much of which food to eat. It helps you identify your specific body type. It also tells you what to eat to keep your gut health under control.

Dimple Jangra says that people must have a deep understanding of the time taken to digest different food groups. This will help them avoid mixing contradictory foods. This can cause digestive problems.

Therefore, there is no exercise that you can do. The intestine is the engine of the body. There is no quick solution or exercise for it. According to experts, consistency is necessary for gut health.
