India’s Foreign Minister S Jaishankar gave his statement in the Lok Sabha today regarding India-China relations and the border dispute with China. Regarding the current situation of LAC and India’s relations with China, the Foreign Minister said in the Lok Sabha that efforts are on to restore peace on the border. He said that due to diplomatic initiatives on LAC, the situation on LAC has improved and both sides are committed to improving the situation. Neither side will tamper with the current situation and India and China will resolve all issues only with consent. He said that talks were held with China only after the situation on the border became normal today.
Foreign Minister gave credit to the army
Foreign Minister S Jaishankar said that the entire credit for the restoration of LAC goes to our country’s army. He said that it has been agreed between India and China that there will be no unilateral change in the status quo and at the same time the old agreements between the two countries will be followed. Without peace on the border, India-China relations cannot remain normal.
