Islamabad: Former Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan’s troubles may increase further. Recently, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Army Chief General Asim Munir held a major meeting in view of the vandalism, damage and deaths during the protests organized by his party PTI in Islamabad recently. During this, major security issues in the country were discussed. The meeting was also aimed at the recent protests by Imran Khan’s party Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf in Islamabad.

Let us tell you that many people were killed in this demonstration. The government did not officially share the details of the meeting held on Monday, but Dawn newspaper quoted a source associated with the meeting as saying that the protests at D-Chowk on November 24 were also discussed in the meeting and Resolved to not spare anyone involved in violence and killing of law enforcers. “It was decided that there will be no leniency towards those who kill security personnel and damage state property,” the source said.

Discussion on internal and external security

The meeting was attended by top security officials and the increase in terrorist attacks was also discussed. The meeting also discussed Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur’s threat that if the government did not release Imran Khan from jail, he would take out another protest march to Islamabad.
