This condition, known as a dowager’s hump, is called kyphosis and often indicates poor posture. You can avoid future neck pain and minimize the appearance of this hump with posture changes, daily exercises, and braces.

Osteoporosis is a condition that can lead to compression fractures in the spine and cause the upper back to curve outward, known as hunchback.
Arthritis
Arthritis often occurs when the body experiences chronic neck pain associated with arthritis. Over time, if this pain persists, it can lead to curvature and bending of the upper spine.
Aging
As people age, they may also experience significant loss of mass in their spine, causing changes in posture and making any existing hunchback more obvious.
How to Fix a Back Hump
1 Shoulder Rolls
Start by standing up straight and keeping your arms at your sides.
Then, rotate your shoulders 12 times in each direction, both forward and backward.
Rest a bit and come back for three more cycles.
2. Diagonal band stretch
Take a resistance band and pull it diagonally with your hands on opposite sides. Hold the ends of the band and pull.
Then, change direction and pull the band horizontally across your chest to complete the movement.
Lastly, place your thumbs on top, relax your neck, and press your shoulder blades together while pulling the band.
3 Wall Extension Stretch
First of all, touch the wall with both your hands.
Keeping your back straight, bend your hips backward and slowly lower your chest to the floor.
Avoid pulling your head toward the ground and keep it parallel to your spine.
Keep your middle back and chest straight, so they feel the stretch.
This will loosen up your chest muscles and provide movement to the stiff spine in your middle back.
