Facebook Messenger Gets New Features HD video calls AI backgrounds

Meta has provided HD video call feature in the app which comes with background noise cancellation and voice isolation. This gives users a clear, high quality call experience. The company promises that the call experience on Messenger will be as if you are present in the same room together.

HD will be on by default for calls made over Wi-Fi on Facebook Messenger, but it will have to be turned on manually for mobile data calls. Both features like background noise suppression and voice isolation can be turned on through call settings. You can also drop an audio or video message if your friend doesn’t answer the phone. In this you just have to tap on record message for audio and video calls.

Messenger is also getting AI background in video calls soon, which will make your calls a little better. To create a background, tap the Effects icon in the sidebar of your next video call. If you are an Apple user, then there is a special feature for you, in which on iOS you can now ask Siri to help you in making messenger calls and sending messages.
