Usually, when you pass urine after eating spicy food, you may feel a burning sensation in the vagina. You may also feel the urge to pass urine frequently. To avoid such problems, eat less spicy foods and also include hydrating drinks in your regular diet.

If you feel a burning sensation, drink two to four glasses of water, and pass urine. This will reduce the burning sensation and you will get relief. Repeat this 3 to 4 times throughout the day. It is very important to consume adequate amount of water to maintain vaginal health, not only when eating spicy food, but also on normal days.

2. Foods

In case of vaginal irritation, include certain types of foods in your diet. Increase your intake of hydrating, and vitamin C-rich fruits and vegetables. Try cranberry juice, dark chocolate, and some types of fruit. This will help in keeping your digestion balanced, which will also provide relief from vaginal irritation in some time.

3. probiotics

Foods containing probiotics contain healthy gut bacteria, which ultimately boost the number of healthy bacteria. Thus it promotes digestion, and is also beneficial for vaginal health. If you are experiencing vaginal irritation, try yogurt, kombucha, fermented drinks and foods. This will give you relief.

4. Wash the vagina with cold water

If there is excessive burning in the vagina then clean it with cold water. By doing this you will get relief for some time. Apart from this, wear loose fitting clothes and if possible, do not wear panties for some time.

Note: If there is a severe burning sensation, as well as itching, and it persists for a long time, then consult a doctor and follow the medicines as suggested by him.
