Maddie Dark scored 105 runs to snatch the match from India A.
India’s Women-A cricket team that went to Australia had to face defeat in the last match as well. Australia-A won the only unofficial test by 45 runs. Maddie Dark scored a century from the team, while India’s off-spinner Minnu Mani took 5 wickets in the first innings and 6 wickets in the second innings.
On the Australia tour, India’s A team lost the T20 series 3-0 and the ODI series 2-1. While the team has now lost the only Test as well.
Georgia Voll’s fifty in the first innings against Australia
Australia A won the toss and elected to bat first in Gold Coast. Team opener Georgia Voll hit a fifty, she scored 71 runs in 95 balls. However, there was no support from the other end. 4 batsmen could not score more than 5 runs, while fellow opener Emma de Brog scored 12 runs.
In the end, Matlan Brown scored 30, Kat Patterson scored 26 and Grace Parsons scored 35 runs to take the team’s score to 212. From India, Minnu Mani took 5 wickets and Priya Mishra took 4 wickets. Mannat Kashyap also got a success.

India lost Priya Poonia’s wicket at just 13 runs, but Shweta Sahrawat and Shubha Satish took charge of the innings. Shubha was out after scoring 22 runs, after her Tejal Hasabnis played an innings of 32 runs to take the score to 100 runs. The team had lost only 2 wickets till 100 runs, but within the next 28 runs the team lost 5 wickets and the score became 128/7.
In the end, Sayali Satghare scored 21, Minnu Mani scored 17 and Mannat Kashyap scored 19 runs to take the team close to 180. However, the team was all out at 184 and Australia got a lead of 28 runs. From Australia, Kat Patterson took 5 wickets. While Matlan Brown, Nicola Hancock, Charlie Knott and Lily Mills got 1-1 success.

Maddy Dark scored a century
With a lead of 28 runs, Australia-A’s second innings saw opener Emma de Brog hit a fifty. However, in front of her, Nicole Faltum could only score 16 and Tess Flintoff could only score 4 runs. Georgia Voll and captain Charlie Knott could not even open their account. The team lost 5 wickets at a score of 96 runs. After half the team returned to the pavilion, wicketkeeper-batsman Maddie Dark hit a century.
Against Dark, Matlan Brown scored 26 and Grace Parsons scored 35 runs. Dark remained not out after scoring 105 runs and took the team’s score to 260. Raghavi Bist and Uma Chhetri then took charge of the team and took the score past 200 runs. Both of them were holding on, when Chhetri got out after scoring 47 runs. After her Sayali returned to the pavilion after scoring 21 runs and Raghavi returned after scoring 26 runs. The team’s score became 219/9.
Mannat Kashyap was out as the last batsman after scoring 1 run and India-A lost the match by 45 runs. The team could score only 243 runs. Tess Flintoff and Charlie Knott took 3-3 wickets in the second innings of Australia-A. Grace Parsons got 2 wickets, while Maitlan Brown and Lily Mills took 1-1 wickets.
