Apple is preparing to enter the smart home camera market with plans for mass production by 2026. A person who closely follows Apple products has claimed that Apple plans to ship at least 10 million units annually. The new wireless camera will be designed to provide a seamless experience to users by pairing with Apple’s ecosystem. This will include Apple Intelligence and Siri support. Apart from this, it is reported that Apple is also planning to take the functionality of AirPods to new heights with health management features.

Popular analyst Ming-Chi Kuo said on Medium Post Gave a glimpse of Apple’s future planning. He claims that Apple is planning to enter the smart home camera market and the company aims to capture the market in a big way by shipping at least 10 million units, which is currently 30 to 40 million per year. Mass production of this device is scheduled for 2026.

As seen with other Apple products, the upcoming wireless camera is expected to become a part of the Apple ecosystem by providing seamless connectivity with other Apple devices. This will include both Apple Intelligence and Siri.

In his post, Kuo further said that similar to the health management system present in the Apple Watch lineup, the company is now planning to integrate it with Airpods. So, we can expect to see more health management features in future AirPods models. It is also expected that with this strategy, sales of AirPods will increase from about 48 million units last year to 53-55 million this year, 58-62 million next year and 65-68 million in 2026. A new model is also coming in 2026.
