Raw turmeric 2 teaspoons
chopped amla 2
Green chilli 1 to 2
yellow mustard 1 teaspoon
salt as per taste

  • To make Amla Raw Turmeric Kanji, first cut the raw turmeric into pieces and put it in a container.
  • Grind the mustard seeds coarsely and cut the gooseberries into small pieces and keep them aside. If you want, you can also steam it.
  • Now after raw turmeric, add chopped amla, coarsely ground mustard and green chilli cut from the middle.
  • Apart from this, add salt to it for taste. Black pepper can also be added to it as per taste.
  • Finally, pour lukewarm water in the container and close it and keep it in the sun for 3 to 4 days to ferment.
  • Drink this probiotic beverage once it is ready.
