New Delhi: Union Home Minister Amit Shah, while paying tribute to the soldiers who lost their lives in the Mumbai terrorist attack, said that the entire world has appreciated the policy of ‘zero tolerance’ towards terrorism of the Central Government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Shah said that due to the government’s policy, India has become a world leader in anti-terrorism initiatives. He said that cowardly terrorists had put humanity to shame by killing innocent people in Mumbai on this day in 2008.

Shah wrote on the social media platform ‘X’ with the hashtag ‘Mumbai Terror Attack’, ‘On this day in 2008, cowardly terrorists in Mumbai put humanity to shame by killing innocent people. I pay my heartfelt tribute to the soldiers who attained martyrdom while fighting the terrorists in the 26/11 Mumbai attacks and pay my respects to those who lost their lives. Terrorism is a disgrace to the entire human civilization. Modi government’s policy of ‘zero tolerance’ against terrorism has been appreciated by the whole world and today India has become the world leader in anti-terrorism initiatives.

Shinde, Pawar and Fadnavis paid tribute to the martyrs
Maharashtra Governor CP Radhakrishnan and Chief Minister Eknath Shinde on Tuesday paid tribute to the martyrs who sacrificed their lives fighting terrorists during the 2008 Mumbai attacks. Deputy Chief Ministers Devendra Fadnavis and Ajit Pawar also paid tribute at the Martyr Memorial in the Police Commissioner’s office complex in South Mumbai. Let us tell you that on 26 November 2008, 10 terrorists from Pakistan had carried out the most gruesome terrorist attack in India so far in Mumbai in which 166 people were killed.
