Mother had a heart attack, father died due to illness
After losing their parents, Aman and his sister went to their aunt’s house. The aunt raised both of them like her own children. Sahrawat’s aunt Suman says, ‘Aman’s mother Kamlesh was my younger sister. She had a heart attack. Aman’s father also fell ill in grief after Kamlesh’s death and after 6 months he left, leaving Aman and his sister to us.’

Father sent him to Chhatrasal Stadium so that he doesn’t feel sad after mother’s departure
Aman was interested in sports since childhood. He used to practice running and wrestling in the ring with his aunt’s son Deepak. Deepak says that his uncle wanted someone from the family to do wrestling and win medals for the country. Before that, his uncle and his maternal uncle’s son were sent there, but both of them could not survive.

The coach kept it in the room next to his
Aman lives in Chhatrasal Stadium. Coach Lalit’s room is also next to it. Lalit says that I made him stay in the room next to mine so that he can be taken care of. He says that we rarely let him talk at home. We have also told the family members to come here less and talk less. This will make him miss his home and parents and he will not be able to focus on the game.

Lalit says that after winning the medal in the Asian Games, he was given a staff room. There is also a kitchen in it, so that if he wants to cook something separately, he can cook it himself.

Important things…

  • Put posters in the room so that you don’t lose sight of your goalAman has put up posters of Olympic medals and his qualification for the Olympics in his room, so that he does not deviate from his goal and prepares with a focus on the Olympic gold.
  • Whenever he goes to the village, he bows his head at the temple built by his fatherWhenever Aman goes to the village, he bows his head in the temple built by his father. His aunt tells that whenever there is a competition, he definitely comes home and bows his head in the temple. This temple was built by his father.
  • The family has kept the medals safely in the cupboardThe family has kept all of Aman’s medals safely in the cupboard at home. His aunt Suman shows the medals and says, ‘This is the result of Aman’s hard work. He has won many medals. Right now, it has been kept safely in the cupboard.’
