Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkumar Rao’s ‘Stree 2’ is being talked about a lot these days. After the preview on 14th August, this film was released in theatres on 15th August and along with it many other films also hit the theatres. The films released on 15th August also include Akshay Kumar’s ‘Khel Khel Mein’ and John Abraham’s ‘Veda’, which are witnessing a close competition these days. Despite the clash with Stree 2, both these films are collecting crores. ‘Veda’ had collected more than ‘Khel Khel Mein’ on the opening day, but now John Abraham’s film seems to be lagging behind Akshay Kumar’s film.
Veda’s Collection
If we look at the figures of Sakcinlk, John Abraham and Sharvari Wagh’s ‘Veda’ collected 6.3 crores on the first day, on the second day the film earned only 1.8 crores. On the third day, Veda again jumped and collected 2.45 crores. On the fourth day i.e. Sunday, the film collected 2.7 crores. Despite being a Sunday, the film could not do anything special. So far this film has been able to earn only 13.25 crores.
Collection of games
Talking about Akshay Kumar, Taapsee Pannu, Vaani Kapoor, Fardeen Khan, Aditya Seal, Amy Virk and Pragya Jaiswal multistarrer ‘Khel Khel Mein’, the film opened its account with 5.05 crores. On the second day, the film earned 2.05 crores and on the third day it collected 3.1 crores. On the fourth day, the film’s earnings again saw a jump. Obviously, the film got the benefit of Sunday and on the fourth day, Khel Khel Mein was successful in collecting 3.75 crores. Talking about the total collection of the film, it has earned 13.95 crores so far, which is more than John’s Veda.
There is competition from these films
Let us tell you, on 15th August, along with Akshay Kumar’s Khel Khel Mein and John Abraham’s Veda, three Bollywood and five South films were released in theatres, which include Shraddha Kapoor-Rajkummar Rao starrer ‘Stree 2’ and Chiyan Vikram starrer ‘Tangalwan’. These two films are ruling the theatres these days. Especially Stree 2 is getting tremendous response from the audience, due to which the film has crossed the 200 crore mark in just four days.
