The names of the stations which have been changed are Kasimpur Halt, Jaish, Misrauli, Bani, Nihalgarh, Akbarganj, Wazirganj Halt, Fursatganj. After this matter came to light, SP leader and former UP CM Akhilesh Yadav has targeted BJP.
Akhilesh posted on his social media handle X, ‘I urge the BJP government to change not just the names of railway stations but also their conditions. And when you get free time from changing names, then take out some time and think about preventing record-breaking rail accidents.’
What are the new names of the stations?
Kasimpur halt has been renamed as Jais City, Jais has been renamed as Guru Gorakhnath Dham, Misrauli has been renamed as Maa Kalikan Dham, Bani has been renamed as Swami Paramhans, Nihalgarh has been renamed as Maharaja Bijli Pasi, Akbarganj has been renamed as Maa Ahorva Bhawani Dham, Wazirganj halt has been renamed as Amar Shaheed Bhale Sultan and Fursatganj has been renamed as Tapeshwarnath Dham.
CM Yogi was recently targeted
Recently, Akhilesh had expressed his displeasure over CM Yogi’s statement. He had said that the job of responsible people is to protect people from fear, not to spread fear. Actually, CM Yogi had said that learn a lesson from Bangladesh, we have to stay united, not divided. If we divide, we will be cut off and if we stay united, we will be safe.
On his statement, the SP chief wrote on the social media platform X, “The job of responsible people is to protect from fear, not to spread fear. If these are someone’s personal views then they are wrong, and if they are of his party then they are even more wrong. In this atmosphere of fear created by the BJP rule, has the double engine gone and hid somewhere?”
