Airtel users get access to Apple TV plus and Apple Music

Airtel-Apple Partnership: Telecom giant Airtel has partnered with Apple. Now Airtel customers in India will be able to access the content of Apple TV+ and Apple Music. According to a report, the facility of Apple TV+ will be given to premium customers of Airtel Xstream and customers having postpaid plans. They will be able to watch feature films, documentaries etc. including drama and comedy series available on Apple TV+.

At the same time, Wynk Premium users will get the benefit of Airtel and Apple Music partnership. They will be able to use Apple Music with exclusive offers. Apple TV Plus and Apple Music offers will be available to Apple customers in the next few months.

From the information received so far, it is clear that this facility will not be available for prepaid customers. Only postpaid customers, Airtel Extreme premium customers and Wink Premium users will be able to access Apple TV+ and Apple Music.

In other news related to Airtel, the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India reported that Airtel added 12.5 lakh new connections in June. Airtel now has 38.902 crore customers. Its number of active subscribers is 38.483 crore, which is 98.92 percent of its total user base. That is, Airtel is ahead of Jio in terms of active user base.

Recently, Airtel also helped the victims of the Wayanad disaster. Those Airtel prepaid customers in the affected areas whose validity had expired were given help. Such people were given 1 GB free mobile data daily for three days.
