She has worked in Hindi, Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu and English films till now. She first acted in the Malayalam film “The Train” directed by National Award winning director Jayaraj. Sheena Chauhan got great success when she got the opportunity to work in “Ant Story” on Netflix. It was directed by Mostofa Sarwar Farooqui. In this, she played the role of a famous actress (Famous Actress Reema). The actress’s performance in Ant Story was also praised by her critics. For her acting in this, she was nominated for Best Actress along with Keira Knightley and Kate Beckinsale at the Dubai International Film Festival and Shanghai International Film Festival. She has worked in the Hollywood film “Nomad”. ‘The Fame Game’ actress Sheena Chauhan has also been selected to play the lead role in the ‘Sant Tukaram’ biopic. She has to bring to life the character of Avalai Jija Bai, wife of Marathi saint “Sant Tukaram” on the silver screen.

Sheena says, “It is difficult to tell how I manage all the work. It depends on personal experience and circumstances. I manage my time in a systematic way. In this work, I take help of calendar, priority list and people working with me.” Sheena believes that to manage all the work well, timely breaks, nutritious diet, exercise and taking care of mental health are also necessary.

Sheena is the United for Human Rights ambassador for South Asia. In 2019, she received the Human Rights Hero Award at the 16th International Human Rights Summit of the United Nations. She went there as a speaker. Sheena is the only Indian actress to be awarded the Hero Award at the United Nations for reaching out to millions of people and creating awareness through her campaign on human rights.

Because of doing such important work, Sheena says, “After 10 years, I will be my own role model. These days I am doing films like Sant Tukaram, Bhayava. I want to keep acting in the future. I always want to keep working to motivate the youth. I want to reach billions of people with my work.

She found that even in a spiritual country like India, people are discriminated against. She believes that Indian women face the most domestic abuse.
