A terrible landslide happened in Wayanad, Kerala recently. More than 200 people died in this. At present, Tripura is also facing heavy floods. Now Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav has extended a helping hand to both Kerala and Tripura. On the occasion of Shri Krishna Janmashtami, Mohan Yadav has announced to give disaster relief funds for Kerala and Tripura.
20 crore rupees each were given for disaster relief
On the occasion of Shri Krishna Janmashtami, the Madhya Pradesh government has given Rs 20 crore each to the state governments of Tripura and Kerala for disaster relief. Chief Minister Dr Mohan Yadav has given this information on social media. CM Modan Yadav has said that it is very sad that there has been a large-scale loss of life and property in the disaster.
What did Mohan Yadav say?
Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav said that various states in the country including Madhya Pradesh are affected by heavy rains, floods and landslides. In the last few days, there have been incidents of severe natural disasters in Tripura and Kerala; in which there has been a huge loss of life and property which is extremely sad. On the auspicious occasion of Shri Krishna Janmashtami, I have decided to release Rs 20 crore each on behalf of the Madhya Pradesh government to the state governments of Tripura and Kerala to provide relief in the severe disaster.
Mohan Yadav further said that the Madhya Pradesh government is with both the states in this hour of crisis, my sympathies are with the people affected by the disaster. I pray to Lord Shri Krishna to overcome this crisis soon.
