Jharkhand assembly elections are drawing near. Even before this, there is speculation about former Chief Minister Champai Soren joining BJP. According to reports, Champai Soren again reached Park Hotel in Kolkata on Sunday and met Shuvendu Adhikari. It is expected that today Champai Soren will come to Delhi by Indigo flight, where he is likely to meet the Union Agriculture Minister.

According to reports, Champai is expected to reach Delhi at 10.30 am. Then he will meet the Union Agriculture Minister and many big leaders of Delhi. In such a situation, it is expected that he will soon be seen with BJP. However, speculations about former Jharkhand CM Champai Soren joining BJP were in the news a few days ago.
It was being said that he has had talks with top BJP leaders. Some MLAs of Jharkhand Mukti Morcha are in touch with him. However, his talks with BJP did not work out and after returning to Jharkhand, he announced to form a new party. In such a situation, his coming to Delhi is once again fuelling speculations.
Why did Champai get angry?
Let us tell you that on 31 January 2024, Hemant Soren resigned from the post of Chief Minister of Jharkhand and proposed the name of senior leader Champai Soren as the new Chief Minister. Then after a few hours, Champai Soren was sworn in as CM by the Governor. After this, the ED arrested Hemant. After about 5 months, Hemant was released in June and here Champai resigned from the post of Chief Minister. It is believed that Champai is not happy with this decision of JMM.
