Makhana and Curd Salad Recipe

To make Makhana and Curd Salad you need

Makhana 1 cup
Curd 1 cup
1 small cucumber, finely chopped
1 small tomato, finely chopped
1 small boiled potato, chopped
Handful of pomegranate seeds
Green chillies 1-2, finely chopped
Rock salt as per taste
a pinch of black pepper powder
Some fresh coriander leaves, chopped
1 tsp roasted cumin powder
A little honey

Make Makhana and Curd Salad like this

  • Heat a pan on low flame and roast the makhanas until they become crispy and golden brown. This may take 5 to 7 minutes.
  • Take curd in a mixing bowl and beat it till it becomes smooth and creamy.
  • Add finely chopped cucumber, tomato and boiled potato to the curd. Mix well.
  • Put the roasted makhana in a bowl. Mix everything well together in the curd.
  • Sprinkle rock salt, black pepper powder, roasted cumin powder and chopped green chillies on the salad. Mix all these things well.
  • If you want sweetness then add pomegranate seeds and some honey. Finally garnish it with coriander.
