Manu Khatkar of Bangar in Jind district left with the Indian team for the Paris Paralympics-2024 starting on August 28. He will show his strength by representing India in his category in shot put on August 30.

Manu Khatkar’s father Kuldeep Khatkar said that just like every Indian player dreams of waving the Indian flag in the Olympics, Manu Khatkar has also left for Paris with the dream of waving the Indian flag in the Paralympics.

Practicing for 4 years

Father Kuldeep Khatkar said that Manu has been practicing continuously for the Paralympics for the last 4 years at Rajiv Gandhi Stadium in Rohtak under the guidance of his coach Rajesh Kumar. We all hope that Manu will bring a medal for India this time. Before leaving for Paris, Manu got his favorite dish churma prepared by his grandmother and ate it and left after taking blessings.
