After meeting PM Modi, another member of the Indian community in Warsaw said, “It is a wonderful feeling, because he is a very influential person not only for Indians but for the whole world, and it was an honor for me to meet him and see him so closely, he was very mysterious, very humble, and I was happy to see him.” Let us tell you that this is the first time in the last 45 years that an Indian Prime Minister has visited Poland. PM’s foreign trip is important
Tanmay Lal, Secretary (West) of the Ministry of External Affairs, termed Prime Minister Modi’s visit as important. This visit is taking place at a time when 70 years of establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries are also being completed. He also said that a unique relationship between India and Poland dates back to the time of World War II during the 1940s, when more than six thousand women and children of Poland took refuge in two princely states of India – Jamnagar and Kolhapur.
