The makers of ‘Tarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’ had filed a petition in the Delhi High Court to stop the illegal use of the show’s content. They had told in the petition that social media platforms YouTube channel, Facebook, Instagram and some websites are misusing the content of the show, after which the Delhi High Court has given its verdict. The Delhi High Court has issued a John Doe order in favor of the makers of the show ‘Tarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’. The producer of the show Asit Kumar Modi has confirmed this news.

Delhi High Court decided in favor of TMKOC

The makers of ‘Tarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’ filed a petition in the Delhi High Court and asked to take action against those YouTube channels, social media accounts that were misusing the videos and dialogues of the show. On August 14, Justice Mini Pushkaran passed an order that no one other than AI photo and animated video makers can copy the characters of any show’s content.

Why was the content of ‘Tarak Mehta…’ banned?

According to PTI, after hearing this petition, the court said in the order that no person can host, stream, broadcast and present the content and dialogues of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah in any way. Because this will be considered a violation of copyright rules and violation of registered trademark. Not only this, the Delhi High Court has also given this decision so that the content of the show is not misused.

These actors have said goodbye to ‘Tarak Mehta…’

‘Tarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’ is in the news these days for some reason or the other. Before Kush Shah, who played the role of Goli, many actors including Shelesh Lodha, Jennifer Mistry, Neha Mehta had left the show, after which the show has been in a lot of controversies.
