The Election Commission has announced the date of assembly elections in Haryana on Friday. Along with Haryana, the date of assembly elections in Jammu and Kashmir has also been announced. All the parties have become active after the election date was announced. In this sequence, a big meeting has been called on Friday night at the residence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi regarding the Haryana assembly elections. Home Minister Amit Shah, BJP National President JP Nadda, Union Minister Manohar Lal Khattar and Defense Minister Rajnath Singh have also attended the meeting.

What happened in the meeting?

According to the information, the Prime Minister was given feedback on the political situation in Haryana in the meeting held at the PM residence. According to sources, the Prime Minister was given detailed information about the organisational level plan to form the government for the third consecutive time in Haryana.

Leaders who have been MPs can become candidates

Information has also come to light that BJP can field many veterans who lost the recent Lok Sabha elections or who were MPs earlier as candidates in the assembly elections. According to sources, in this meeting, Prime Minister Modi was given feedback about Haryana as well as Jammu and Kashmir.

The process of selection of candidates may start

According to BJP sources, the process of selection of candidates for both Haryana and Jammu and Kashmir can start soon. Soon the probable names of the candidates will be sought. After this, these names will be discussed in the core committee meeting in Delhi. After this, a meeting of the party’s central election committee will be called to put the final seal on the names of the candidates. (Input: IANS)
