Deepika Padukone has given many hit and blockbuster films in her career. From last year to this year, the actress has given 4 consecutive hit films. Deepika is the only actress whose films released in the last 2 years have earned more than 4000 crores. By the way, did you know that she lost the first Indian film to join the 500 crore club? Yes, the actress did not turn down the first Indian film to join the 500 crore club but she was rejected. The first Indian film to earn 500 crores at the box office was Do Sitare and this film made a 13-year-old child a star. The villain in this film caught everyone’s attention. This is none other than ‘Dhoom 3’. The reason for removing Deepika from the film was her dancing skills. Aamir Khan believed that Katrina could dance better.

This child actor shined with this film

‘Dhoom 3’ is an action thriller starring Aamir Khan, Katrina Kaif, Abhishek Bachchan and Uday Chopra in the lead roles. The film also stars Jackie Shroff and Siddharth Nigam in key roles. Made on a massive budget of Rs 175 crore, the film was the most expensive film of that time. This was Siddharth Nigam’s first film and it made the 13-year-old boy a star after which he appeared in many hit TV shows.

Deepika was replaced

Although the audience liked the chemistry of Aamir Khan and Katrina Kaif, she was not the first choice for this film. Before Katrina, this film was offered to Deepika Padukone, but later Aamir rejected her. However, she did Ayan Mukherjee’s film ‘Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani’ with Ranbir Kapoor during the same time. This film was also a box office hit. Meanwhile, ‘Dhoom 3’ earned Rs 550 crore at the box office worldwide and proved to be a blockbuster. The film became the first Indian film to join the Rs 500 crore club and set a new benchmark for other Indian films.

The song of the film has a connection with Sachin

This film also has a connection with Sachin Tendulkar. Aamir said in a statement that the title track ‘Dhoom Machale Dhoom’ is dedicated to Sachin Tendulkar, who was playing his 200th and final Test match at the Wankhede Stadium at that time. Meanwhile, Aamir Khan was last seen in the film ‘Lal Singh Chaddha’, after which he took a break from films. However, he will next be seen in the film ‘Sitare Zameen Par’. On the other hand, Deepika Padukone will next be seen in the film ‘Singham Again’ alongside Ajay Devgan, Ranveer Singh, Tiger Shroff, Jackie Shroff and Arjun Kapoor and the film will be released in theaters this Diwali.
