The last pair of Jasprit Bumrah and Akash Deep saved India from follow-on in the ongoing third Test against Australia in Brisbane. Both of them have made a partnership of 39 for the last wicket.

Akashdeep avoided the follow-on by hitting four consecutive fours off the bowling of Australian captain Pat Cummins. After this, he also hit a six on Cummins’ ball. The reaction of the Indian dressing room on both these shots was worth seeing. Coach Gautam Gambhir, Virat Kohli and captain Rohit Sharma jumped with joy.

On the fourth ball of the 75th over, Akash Deep hit Cummins for a six over midwicket. On a full length ball, Akash hit a six on the second floor of the stadium. Seeing this six, Kohli present at the pavilion stood up from his seat and came towards the window. His reaction here was shocking.
