With increasing age, many changes occur in the body of women and they also have to face many health problems. One of them is diabetes. Due to this lifestyle disorder, many types of symptoms start appearing in the body. Due to this, not only does fatigue increase in women’s body but there remains a risk of dehydration and vaginal infection. What is diabetes?

Diabetes is a group of metabolic diseases that cause the level of glucose in the blood to increase and the risk of diabetes, also known as blood sugar, increases. 1. Candida Infection

High blood sugar level and hyperglycemia in the body start causing Candida infection. It is also called candidiasis. Actually, lack of immunity in the body causes the increase of this disease. This infection affects the mouth, vagina, feet and skin. Actually, due to increase in sugar level in the body, infection starts growing easily. 3. Increase in fatigue

According to the NHS, when the sugar present in the body is not used for energy, the sugar level in the blood increases. Due to this, one has to face fatigue and the problem of sleeplessness also persists. Increasing fatigue and weakness in the body proves to be the cause of anxiety and depression.

4. Vaginal dryness

Due to high blood sugar level, dryness starts increasing around the vagina, due to which one has to face itching. Due to this, nerve fibers start getting damaged, due to which dryness increases. Actually, this problem starts increasing due to hormonal changes in the body and reduced blood flow. Due to this, the possibility of low libido, painful sex and vaginal infection increases.

5. Polycystic Ovary Syndrome

In such a situation, the risk of polycystic ovary syndrome increases in women. Actually, the increasing level of male hormone androgen in the body proves to be the cause of the problem. Due to this, women have to face irregular periods, acne, infertility and depression.

Regarding this, Dietician and Certified Diabetes Educator Dr. Archana Batra tells that
Diabetes is a serious wellness issue. These can be reduced by prioritizing nutritious food in the diet, controlling the intake of carbs, increasing physical activity and reducing stress.

1. Replace processed foods with whole grains

Try to control the amount of sodium, sugar and unhealthy fats by increasing the amount of fiber. For this, include oats, quinoa, pulses, green leafy vegetables and seasonal fruits in the diet. With this the blood sugar level can be controlled.

2. Stay hydrated

Drink plenty of water, which helps in detoxifying the toxic substances present in the body. Apart from this, limit the consumption of coffee and tea to maintain the sugar level. Instead of this include coconut water and detox water.

3. Avoid taking stress

Prolonged stress can increase cortisol levels, which causes spikes in blood sugar levels. In such a situation, avoid stress and anxiety. For this, deep breathing, meditation, practicing yoga and adequate sleep are necessary in the routine.

4. Exercising is beneficial

The human body uses insulin more effectively when engaging in physical activity. Walk for at least 150 minutes a week. Additionally, regular aerobic activity promotes heart health and lowers blood sugar.
