Muslim Rashtriya Manch organized the meeting in Paharganj, New Delhi. This meeting continued till late Monday night at Kalam Bhawan. In this meeting, officials and workers of Muslim Rashtriya Manch expressed deep thoughts on many burning issues. The increasing violence against Hindu minorities in Bangladesh has dealt a deep blow to humanity and democratic values. Muslim Rashtriya Manch (MRM) has taken a strong stance on these incidents, demanded justice and has launched a campaign to raise the issue at the international level. The forum made it clear that now there will be no silence against any kind of injustice. Along with this, the Manch has held the dirty politics of Samajwadi Party and Congress responsible for the violence and death in Sambhal. In the case of Sambhal and Ajmer, the platform has appealed to the people to maintain peace and harmony and have faith in the Constitution and the judiciary.
Raised voice in Muslim National Forum
All the members present in this meeting unanimously decided that Indian citizens will be made aware about the incidents against minorities taking place in Bangladesh. Muslim Rashtriya Manch said that there are continuous incidents of atrocities on the Hindu community, destruction of temples, violence against women and social intolerance in Bangladesh. MRM national convenor Shahid Saeed termed it a “crime against humanity”. He said, “This is not just a religious issue, it is a matter of protecting human rights and human values. India will have to raise the atrocities happening in Bangladesh at international forums.” MRM national convenor Mohammad Afzal said that Human Rights Week will be celebrated from December 10 on the occasion of International Human Rights Day. During this time, the platform will hold protests across the country with the aim of not only expressing sympathy towards the victims, but also highlighting this serious problem at the global level.
SP and Congress responsible for Sambhaal violence
Muslim Rashtriya Manch has made many demands from the Government of India. The forum demanded that the security of Hindu minorities in Bangladesh be ensured. The Indian government put pressure on the Bangladesh government to stop attacks on temples and minority communities. As part of international awareness, human rights violations taking place in Bangladesh should be raised on global forums. Apart from this, humanitarian assistance should be provided to the affected Hindu families in Bangladesh to carry out relief work for the victims. Muslim Rashtriya Manch has held Samajwadi Party (SP) and Congress responsible for the violence in Sambhal. The Manch alleges that SP and Congress, to vent their anger over their defeat in the elections, instigated people, spread rumours, and conspired to riot, igniting the city in the fire of violence.
