Tremors of a massive earthquake were felt in Noto, the north-central region of Japan on Tuesday night. The Japan Meteorological Agency said a magnitude 6.4 earthquake struck off the west coast of the Noto Peninsula at a depth of 10 km (6.2 mi). Japan’s Noto has been hit by the earthquake while it is still recovering from the deadly earthquake earlier this year. According to the information, no tsunami alert has been issued after the earthquake. No news of any loss of life or property has been received at present.
The agency said there is no threat of a tsunami. USGS reported the earthquake’s intensity as 6.1. There were no immediate reports of injuries or damage. Let us tell you that on January 1, an earthquake of 7.6 magnitude occurred in Noto region, in which more than 370 people were killed and roads and other infrastructure were damaged.

The depth of the earthquake was 35 kilometers. The shock of the earthquake was felt by the people in the affected area as well as the surrounding areas. This increased people’s tension. However, there was no loss of life or property due to this earthquake.
