Nature’s fury continues in Himachal Pradesh. An incident of cloudburst has been reported once again in Lahaul-Spiti. Heavy rains have created flood-like conditions in Dang and Shichiling villages. Normal life has been disrupted. Cloudburst has created many problems for the people. People are struggling for everyday things. Many roads have been blocked due to cloudburst. Passers-by are seen stuck in traffic jams for hours.

The whole area was covered with debris

According to the information, a cloud burst occurred in the hills of Mane Dang and Shichiling on NH-505 in Lahaul-Spiti. Due to this, the flow of water in the drains flowing here increased and there was a sudden flood. Due to such a fierce form of weather, the rivers and streams are in spate. There is a flood of water everywhere in houses, fields and shops. Rocks are seen scattered at many places in Sagnam village of Spiti. The entire surrounding area is covered with debris.

The local people are extremely worried due to the natural calamity in Lahaul Spiti. They are worried about their safety. The Meteorological Department has predicted heavy rains till next week. The Meteorological Department has issued a rain alert and people are being appealed to remain alert.

So far 10 people have died, more than 50 people are missing

Let us tell you that more than 10 people have lost their lives due to cloudburst in Himachal so far. More than 50 people are still missing. The search for people is going on. The missing people are being searched with the help of drone cameras. NDRF, SDRF, police and medical teams are present for the rescue operation. Essential items including food and water are being provided to the affected people. Every possible effort is being made to help them. The administration is constantly trying to control the situation.
