American devices maker Apple’s iPhone 16 series may be launched soon. The basic model of this series, iPhone 16, is expected to have a new design. Its Pro models may have upgrades related to performance and charging speed. The iPhone 15 series introduced last year received a good response from customers.

Tipster Instant Digital has said in a post on China’s messaging platform Weibo that the iPhone 16 Pro models may have a higher capacity battery. The iPhone 16 Pro of this series may have a 3,577 mAh battery and the iPhone 16 Pro Max may have a 4,441 mAh battery. However, Apple has not revealed the battery capacity of the upcoming iPhone series.

Earlier, social media platform X user JSonny Dickson (@SonnyDickson) leaked the dummy units of iPhone 16. This smartphone is seen with five colors and a newly designed camera island. It can be brought in blue, green, pink, black and white colors. Recently, analyst Ming Chi Kuo, who tracks Apple, gave information about the same color options for iPhone 16. iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus were made available in blue, green, pink, black and yellow colors. These smartphones had a matte finish.

The iPhone 16 may have a 6.1-inch OLED display. The iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus may have the A18 Bionic chip and the iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max may have the A18 Pro chip. Apple plans to manufacture the iPhone 16 Pro models in India. These smartphones can be made available from the first day of sales. For this, Apple can tie up with its existing contract manufacturing firms. The company has planned to shift part of its manufacturing in China to other countries. These smartphones can be manufactured at the Tamil Nadu factory of Apple’s contract manufacturer Foxconn. In the last few years, the company has increased its manufacturing in the country. Both the iPhone 16 Pro and 16 Pro Max may have support for 40 W wired charging and 20 W wireless charging using MagSafe.
