Nishant has won several accolades, including gold medals at the 2nd Khelo India Youth Games and the 2019 Grand Slam Asian Boxing Championships. In 2019, he also won a silver medal at the 4th Elite Men’s National Boxing Championships. Nishant continued his success at the national level, winning gold medals at the 5th and 6th Elite Men’s National Boxing Championships in 2021 and 2023.

He made his international debut at the AIBA Men’s World Boxing Championships in Serbia in 2021, where he reached the quarterfinals. In 2023, Nishant won a bronze medal at the IBA Men’s World Boxing Championships in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, a significant achievement in his career.
