Haley and Nelly Cools are sisters and business partners. Both the sisters were struggling with their own problems of heavy bust and heavy butt. Both of them made their problem an inspiration. Both of them established the underwear industry by making lingerie that fits all women from eco-friendly and plant-based food.

Apart from blood relation, both of them had one more thing in common. Both of them were looking for underwear that fit different shapes and sizes of body. Some underwear was heavy on the bust, while some were heavy on the butt. This personal demand of theirs inspired them to do something special for the lingerie industry. They got the idea of ​​launching such underwear (Heli and Neli Inspirational lingerie story) that would be suitable for women of different shapes.

Planning to make eco-friendly undergarments (Eco-friendly Underwear)

The sisters wanted to create eco-friendly lingerie. This is how they came up with the exclusive lingerie brand Intimate Queen. It is a body inclusive lingerie brand made from vitamin-rich plant waste. Health Shots spoke exclusively to Haley and Nelly about their journey from struggle to success.

Their problem became an inspiration for Haley and Nelly Cools

Haley and Nelly Cools are two sisters, born and brought up in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. 37-year-old Haley is from an engineering background. She had a passion for music. So she also studied contemporary music and performance in Los Angeles. Later she did an MBA. 40-year-old Nelly is an architect. She has a master’s degree in urban planning.

Both of them faced many personal challenges.

His entrepreneurial spirit took root in 2009 itself. That is when he opened his first business venture – an advertising agency in Mumbai. In 2010, he also started working in Los Angeles, USA, but his real intention was something else.
Nelly explains, “Haley and I were facing personal challenges. Hailey was facing heavy bottom issues. I was facing Nelly’s heavy chest issue.” Personal problems inspired sisters Hailey and Nelly Cools to achieve something special in the lingerie industry.

Change in Lingerie World

The sisters wanted to make a meaningful difference in women’s lives. They explored the world of lingerie. They found a common problem. Most brands claim to have the best fit, lift and support, but all come in different sizes and fits. Haley and Nelly decided to develop body-friendly underwear.

Plant Based material of undergarment

Sustainability was at the core of their brand. The duo kept in mind the market’s awareness of comfort, size and fit. They also wanted to offer sustainability as an added convenience to their customers. “We conducted in-depth interviews with around 50 women, including friends and family. We saw a need for a brand that understood and addressed the specific challenges women face,” says Nelly.

Wellness Fabric of Inner Wear is very special

She further explains, “Then we explored the world of clothing. Our search led us to wellness fabrics. Fabrics that absorb odors and are temperature responsive. Our intimate clothing is designed to be durable. This eliminates the need to change underwear frequently due to size or fit issues. The use of strong materials ensures longevity of the product. The design makes them adaptable to the body across different sizes. Minimizing wastage.

Mixture of cotton and Taxol

For example, their Yew Tree Undies contain a blend of cotton and Taxol derived from yew trees. The Lemon Bae Undies have vitamin C derived from lemon waste in their lining. The Corn Bae Undies use special fibers derived from cotton, corn and sugar beets. These fabrics are renewable and biodegradable, reducing the ecological footprint of intimate wear production.
