New Delhi: Union Minister of State for Home Nityanand Rai has hit back at Uddhav Thackeray’s comment on Union Home Minister Amit Shah. He said that Amit Shah is the enemy of all those who are enemies of the country. Uddhav Thackeray is reading the script of Congress and is hurting the soul of Bala Saheb Thackeray by constantly hurting Hindus.

‘Political descendant’ of Ahmad Shah Abdali

Shiv Sena (Uddhav Thackeray) chief Uddhav Thackeray on Saturday launched a scathing attack on Union Home Minister Amit Shah and called him a “political descendant” of Ahmed Shah Abdali, the Afghan ruler who defeated the Marathas in the Battle of Panipat.

Addressing party workers in Pune, he also accused the BJP of indulging in “power jihad” by creating divisions within political parties to retain control of the government. “Ahmed Shah Abdali was also a Shah and so was Amit Shah. Those who ate cake with Nawaz Sharif will teach us about Hindutva,” Thackeray said.Uddhav Thackeray criticised the BJP and accused it of creating divisions within parties, citing the split in the Shiv Sena and the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP).

Thackeray had targeted Amit Shah

Addressing party workers, he said, “If Muslims are with us and we have explained our Hindutva to them, then we (according to the BJP) are Aurangzeb fan club, then what you are doing is power jihad. Further, Thackeray targeted the Eknath Shinde government and condemned the ‘Mukhyamantri Majhi Ladki Behen’ scheme and accused it of bribing voters by giving them ‘revadis’ (free gifts).

Let us tell you that during a speech on July 21, Amit Shah had launched a scathing attack on Uddhav Thackeray, terming him the leader of the ‘Aurangzeb Fan Club’. Speaking at the BJP’s state conference program in Pune, Amit Shah strongly criticized the former Maharashtra Chief Minister for allying with those who served ‘biryani’ to 26/11 terror attack convict Ajmal Kasab. Shah had also said that Thackeray was with those who were demanding pardon for 1993 Mumbai serial blast convict Yakub Memon. (Input-IANS)
