A massive fire broke out at Visakhapatnam railway station. Trains going from Korba to Visakhapatnam and from here to Tirumala were engulfed in it. The Korba Express train was standing on platform number 4 on Sunday afternoon. Then several of its bogies caught fire. In this accident, the M1, B7, B6 bogies of the AC bogie of Korba Express caught fire. The railway fire brigade personnel who reached the spot brought the fire under control.

Railway officials said that there was no loss of life. After several hours of effort, the fire was brought under control. All the bogies of the train that caught fire were AC. There was a commotion in the station due to the fire in the train. There was a stampede among the passengers.
No one was affected by the fire incident
Smoke was seen coming out of the empty rake of B6, B7 of Korba Express. This train reached here at 6:30 in the morning. It was about to leave for the coaching depot at 9:45. Then it was seen that smoke was coming out of B7 coach. As soon as the information about the fire in the train was received, the fire brigade team was called. Then the fire spread to B7, B7 and M1 coaches. However, no one was affected in this incident.
2 killed, 20 injured in Jharkhand train accident
